RASASC NW offers a range of training for professionals and organisations across North Wales.

Understanding Safeguarding for adults and children:
This unaccredited training is delivered as a full day workshop with an experienced trainer and qualified Clinical and Safeguarding lead, following which you will receive a certificate of attendance.
In this engaging and interactive workshop, we will cover the following learning outcomes:
- Know your role in relation to safeguarding adults, children and young people from harm abuse and neglect.
- Understand how individuals are protected from harm abuse and neglect
- Know how to recognise different types of harm abuse and neglect
We will also touch on legislation in Wales, the different forms of abuse and how to consider risk and vulnerability.

Working with clients who suicide or self-harm:
This unaccredited training is delivered as a full day workshop with an experienced trainer, following which you will receive a certificate of attendance.
In this engaging and interactive workshop, you will cover the following learning outcomes:
- Working with suicidal clients and deescalating risk
- How to work with clients who self-harm
- How to risk assess
- Consider your own personal views and opinions.
- How to Safety plan

Sexual Violence Awareness and Managing Disclosures:
This unaccredited workshop can be delivered in a variety of formats and will be delivered by an experienced sexual violence trainer. It can be delivered in person or online as:
- Lecture style with Q & A 1 hour
- Interactive workshop 2.5 hours
In this engaging and interactive workshop, you will learn about:
- Sexual Violence and its impact on survivors
- The types of sexual violence
- The prevalence of sexual violence in society
- How to respond appropriately to a disclosure of sexual abuse
- How you can make a difference

This unaccredited workshop provides an in depth guide of how to support survivors of sexual violence and will be delivered by an experienced sexual violence trainer.
This engaging and interactive workshop can be delivered in person or online, you will learn about:
- Sexual Violence and its impact on survivors
- The types of sexual violence
- The prevalence of sexual violence in society
- How to respond appropriately to a disclosure of sexual abuse
- How to support survivors of sexual violence
- Trauma and the impact on the brain
- How you can make a difference
